In collaboration with The Home Depot, I was the creative on an organic social media shoot with Shaquille O'Neal. We shot 9 concepts in 6 hours, and one concept prompted the creation of these shoes. The clients wanted to create "Shaq on a Rack", a spoof of Elf on the Shelf for the holidays. I created the pattern, then got to work on these shoes.
Everything was created using fleece fabric, jingle bells, and I lined them using an old pair of my grandmother's Christmas curtains. I thrifted a child's size Lakers jersey a full year before this project, and decided to use it as the base of the shoe.
This is a 2026 project that has not yet hit Home Depot's socials. But stay tuned, because the videos will crack you up.
