ESPN's College Game Day has been a long-standing pinnacle of the culture of College Football. We were asked to concept and execute a full broadcast campaign for The Home Depot and their retailers that celebrated the show and it's hosts.

I was responsible for the concepting, design, art direction, and assisted in all post production for the broadcast and social spots. I also oversaw the team that shadowshot still images, creating their shotlist and approving the imagery. I managed and assisted in creating all 300 units for Home Depot's marketing packages, AND I got to pet Ben, Kirk Herbstreit's sweet Golden Retriever. It was an honor everyone on set took very seriously.

"One Coat Coverage"

This spot was about the ESPN talent interrupting two homeowners to help them get one more project done before kickoff. We wanted it to feel fun, lighthearted, and most importantly, create a common thread between College Game Day, BEHR Paint, and the Home Depot.

We had a team shadowshooting the entire production to produce content for Home Depot's marketing packages. It proved tricky, but somehow in only two days, the team was able to capture 30 branded images for each sponsored partner on top of two :30s and 5 unique :06's with some of the busiest "actors" in sports. I was responsible for creating the shotlist, managing the team, and approving the imagery throughout this shoot. The Studio Orange team captured and edited all stills.

Watching Lee Corso's 100 Watt smile show up in every shot was hands down the best part of this project. Trying to create a storyline where a fire alarm product is relevant to college sports fans was a challenge, but I'm so proud of the end result.

Defense Drills were an idea we came up with to bring athletics and Home Depot brands together in their own campaign. The inspiration for this came from videos like THIS one, sparking fun, humor, and a new version of a relevant trend online.

Together with our dynamic creative team, we shot extra vignettes of our ESPN talent and created over 300 assets across these three social channels. Managing these units was a new experience but it was helpful to learn a new aspect of social units and marketing packages.
